Angels do walk among us because Alice is one of them. I have never met anyone like her. She is a champion for the poor; a champion of human dignity; and a role model for her the community, Nairobi,Kenya our one-world, one-love global community and for me. My flight arrived in the very early morning hours yet there she was holding a little sign waiting to collect me. An insanely amazing cook, kept me too well fed! Took me sightseeing downtown Nairobi and let me join her at the  school Safisha, meeting the mothers and their really cute, super polite, super appreciative children. Then off for safari on the Serengeti at Masai Mara! We had a blast! Lions, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, water buffalo, all grades of antelopes, hippos, elephants, ostriches, baboons, monkeys, jackals, and one monstrously large crocodile! Met ridiculously cool fellow travelers, also  volunteers course! If you are lucky enough to volunteer /travel and stay  with Alice, you will be in for an out-of-the-ordinary .

I am only 17 years old so this trip to volunteer was quite of an adventure for me. The adventure turned out to be amazing experience.The  foundation, director and the host family Alice are amazing people who took care of me and made so much that I wanted to do in Kenya as  possible.The charity school is impressive touching every life of a child. As a result the kids make huge progress in learning.The children have plenty   of great qualities and they are exploits in education.I will never forget my time here and hopefully looking forward to come back and see the fruits I have planted at my age.

“I went to Kenya last year alone for one month as I was 19 years old. It was an amazing experience and I feel like I learned a lot about the world. Alice and her family are lovely and always wishing that you feel comfortable. I feel like I’m part of their family now.
